As a tip, if you’re throwing a barbecue, don’t take on all the responsibility by providing food for everyone. Instead, make it a potluck and spread the responsibility between you and your guests.

Be Prepared, then Clean Up

The last thing you want is to be missing something crucial after you’ve started the grill. Plan ahead by making a checklist, and make sure you’ve gathered all you need into one convenient location. It’s okay to delegate the bringing of food to other people, but it's a good idea to be the one providing the cups, utensils, and plates.

After you’ve used our amenities, be sure to be courteous to other residents and clean up after your party. Come prepared with additional trash bags and wipes and delegate tasks to your guests to lighten the workload for everyone and speed up the cleaning process.
